Recently, Tesmer took Soul Mobility to Project Pitch It, a reality TV show presented by UW-Milwaukee’s Lubar Entrepreneurship Center that airs across the state, including WISN-TV 12 in Milwaukee. The entrepreneurs present to a panel of experts in an attempt to get awards that total more than $40,000 each week.
The Power-Flex is a power base attachment that converts a manual wheelchair into a power chair in under 30 seconds with no tools that "empowers new and existing wheelchair users to lead a hybrid lifestyle," according to CEO & Founding Partner Troy Tesmer. "Giving them the flexibility of pushing or switching to powered mobility on their terms. The PFX grows with the user, adapting to pediatric through adult wheelchairs and features a manual tilt function allowing users to alleviate pressure from sitting all day."
